What we do

ACT's objective is to support and promote the work of Addenbrooke's and its associated hospitals for the benefit of patients and staff, by raising extra funds to enhance services, facilities and research.

Money is raised in a variety of different ways, namely major grants from charitable trusts, corporate sponsorship, community fundraising and individual donations and legacies.

ACT organises a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, provides advice and support for fundraisers who wish to hold their own fundraising events and activities, and grants money to departments around the hospital for various projects.
